ABOUT THE PROJECT

SKARBIEC is a unique new real estate development in the very center of Poznań. This place will combine stunning historic architecture with modernity and a prestigious address. The building was constructed in 1911 for the Bank of the East, in a style referencing German Baroque with Art Deco elements. SKARBIEC connects the historic building with a modern addition, which will be built in the second line of development around a green courtyard.

CHALLENGE

Such a real estate development requires a truly exceptional presentation. When architecture and the building’s remarkable structure take center stage, and are being revitalized with respect for the smallest details, the hardest task is not to overdo it. The challenge is to avoid adding too much and instead let the building’s own history tell the story. This is the challenge faced by architects and other designers alike. Our team embraced the same challenge when we were asked to design the visual identity for this development.

VISUAL IDENTITY

We created the name SKARBIEC—which means “treasury” in Polish, a nod to the property’s location in a historic bank building—along with the logo and the full visual identity. Based on the designed key visual, we prepared a range of branding materials for SKARBIEC, both online and offline for traditional distribution. The brief evolved along the way: the main goal was elegance, but without pretension. We also wanted to capture the spirit of this exceptional real estate development. It’s top-tier quality, but we avoided the word “luxury” – it was implicit, built into the address itself, so there was no need to mention it.

CATALOG

We love print. We enjoy experimenting with materials, techniques, and how light reflects on different surfaces. We love the smell and feel of a printed publication in hand. Old-school? Perhaps, but SKARBIEC demanded a special approach. We have a lot of experience with print and different finishes, and it continues to give us great pleasure. We are happy to provide advice, swatches, and samples from our trusted printing partners—or show what we’ve created in person. For those who prefer digital, yes, we can also make an electronic version.
